MAUS Business Systems has been named Champion Information Technology at the Australian Small Business Champion Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony held on Saturday 13th April at the Westin Sydney with approximately 900 guests in attendance.

The Australian Small Business Champion Awards is the only national program of its kind to recognise the achievements and performances of small businesses.

“This award pays tribute to the company.  We have a high performance culture that allows us to stay ahead of the game, and I thank the hard work and achievements of the staff that enable us to be in this position.” MAUS as a company is on the verge of a new era, and it is fantastic to have this recognized by the small business community” Peter Hickey CEO

The program aims to encourage excellence and drive businesses to success. ‘The Small Business Champion Awards is a way to give back to the backbone of the Australian economy’, said Steve Loe, Managing Director of Precedent Productions and founder of the awards. ‘Every business that entered displayed passion, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, and in my eyes, every Australian small business is a winner in their own right’ said Mr Loe.

39 small business categories, including two entrepreneur categories and one business growth category, were presented on the night. Award receipts demonstrated the strength of the Australian small business community during challenging economic times. Each Champion business was presented with an award statuette, certificate and gained national recognition.

Small businesses from across Australia delivered an impressive array of entries, with winners representing a broad range of industries from all states and territories.

The Awards are proudly presented by Precedent Productions, a small business in its own right and supported by the Castaway Financial Forecasting System, Australian Women Chamber and Industry, Key Person of Influence and Goalstribe.
